BACKGROUND:
I swore I’d never make a RED BLEND. I always wanted each variety and vineyard to speak for itself with a singular voice. But I reluctantly had to accept that sometimes the whole is more interesting than the parts from certain smaller lots. These small quantities blended together gives me an opportunity to deliver a delicious wine at a price that everyone can afford.

STYLE:
This wine contains little fragments of great wines from the many vineyards I work with. Predominatly Zinfandel from Lodi, but there is also a fair amount of Pinot Noir, Syrah and even a dash of Chardonnay and Riesling in there. A light summer red that goes with everything.

VINEYARD:
Blend from Santa Barbara and Lodi.
